C&W to Lease Stamford Mixed-Use Community

Canterbury Green, Stamford, Conn.

RFR Realty has selected Cushman & Wakefield to handle the leasing operations for Canterbury Green, a 245,000-square-foot mixed-use community in Stamford, Conn. The Class A property encompasses office space, residential units and retail space.

The 14-story property is located at 201 Broad St., in the city’s CBD. According to Yardi Matrix, the property features 106 open studios and one- and two-bedroom units with high ceilings, parquet wood floors, oversized closets and fully equipped kitchens. The property also offers a total of 217,500 square feet of commercial office space, with 79,411 square feet of vacant space and a 1,777-square-foot retail unit suitable for a small restaurant. Further amenities include floor plates ranging from 6,000 to 24,000 square feet, high-end finishes, 24-hour security, underground parking with 428 spaces, fitness center and an on-site ATM and deli.

Transit-oriented asset

Nearby amenities include restaurants, retailers and entertainment. The property shares a common site with St. John’s Episcopal Church. Transportation-wise, the Stamford Town Center, the Stamford Train Station and major roads such as Interstate 95 and Merritt Parkway provide easy access throughout the area. One Canterbury Green also provides tenants shuttle bus service and a private car to and from the train station.

The Cushman & Wakefield brokers in charge of leasing are Senior Director Adam Klimek, who is leasing two other Connecticut office properties, and Director Brian Scruton.
