Full-service real estate firm Thor Equities has hired Avison Young to handle the leasing, renewals and marketing operations for its New York City office portfolio. The five-member team will be fronted by Principal & Tri-State President Arthur Mirante II and Principal John Ryan III. The companies have joined their efforts following the departure of Adam Rappaport, who oversaw office leasing at Thor before joining Jack Resnick & Sons.
Premier portfolio
“Thor Equities owns a premier portfolio of office assets with great locations. Each of Thor’s buildings has its own unique offerings and individual leasing opportunities that will appeal to a diverse tenant base. We are confident that the expertise of our team, combined with the commitment and dedication of Avison Young’s resources, will translate into strong results and ensure the market recognizes everything these assets offer,” Mirante said in prepared remarks.
Thor Equities’ office portfolio comprises Class A and B properties located on Fifth Avenue, Madison Avenue and Broadway, but also in neighborhoods such as Flatiron, SoHo and Downtown Brooklyn. Notable office buildings include 245 Fifth Ave., 545 Madison Ave., 180 Livingston St., and the planned Red Hoek Point.
