NHG Taps GM for Upcoming Miami Marriott Hotel
Edgardo Rodriguez is considered to be a veteran in the Miami hospitality community with more than 20 years of experience under his belt. The 165-key TownePlace Suites near Miami International Airport is currently under construction and is scheduled to open this summer.
Hotel development and management company The Naples Hotel Group appointed Edgardo Rodriguez as the general manager for the forthcoming TownePlace Suites by Marriott at Miami International Airport. At present, the hotel is under development and is slated to open this summer. Seawood Builders is the property’s general contractor.
Having served in various leadership positions, Rodriguez has more than 20 years of experience and is considered to be a veteran in the Miami hospitality community. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the most notable brands in the industry, including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and Intercontinental Hotel Group, as well as other independent hotels. In addition to his operations expertise, he has also opened several hotels throughout Miami. In his new role, Rodriguez will be responsible for managing all aspects of the property including operations, revenue management, sales and guest satisfaction.
Located at 4021 NW 11th St., the new 165-key TownePlace Suites will be strategically situated at the main entrance of Miami International Airport. The property will feature an outdoor pool, patio area, on-site parking, an expanded lobby with a full-service bar, a fitness center and 750 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate up to 108 people.
