Zurich North America HQ Upgrades with Fitness Facility

Chicago—National fitness center management company Kinema Fitness recently announced a new collaboration with Zurich Insurance to operate a 20,000-square-foot gym located at the company’s corporate base in Schaumburg, Ill., a northwestern suburb of Chicago.

Zurich North America’s new 783,800-square-foot, LEED Platinum-certified headquarters houses more than 2,500 employees who provide a wide range of general and life insurance products and services. The fitness center is one of the building’s main amenities, with two large group exercise rooms, indoor cycling facilities, saunas, a cardio and strength room with premium fitness equipment, a mother’s wing and a juice bar. Kinema is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the gym, including the staffing, financials, personal training, fitness classes, programming, tenant outreach and driving initiatives. Membership is open to Zurich employees at the new ZNA headquarters. In addition, Kinema assisted with the layout of the fitness center and the acquisition of the equipment.

By adding Zurich Insurance to its portfolio, Kinema is expanding its footprint in the Windy City market. The fitness company has clients in various sectors, including commercial real estate, corporations and luxury hospitality.
