New YorkWolf & Badger, a London-based multi-brand retailer, has announced the opening of a store in SoHo, New York. The 2,500-square-foot flagship store located at 95 Grand St. was previously occupied by Burch Sisters’ Trademark boutique.

The lease deal marks the company’s first foray into the U.S. market. Following an extensive refurbishment by architect Augustus Brown, the store is set to open early 2017, right in time for the start of the spring fashion season. The store will offer a selection of independent designer brands from the U.S., in addition to introducing many European brands to the market for the first time.

“With Brexit looming and the UK entering a period of uncertainty, we are extremely pleased to be entering the US market and facilitating independent brands to seamlessly reach a wider customer base around the world, ensuring continued opportunity for independent labels even if the European market starts to close up,” George Graham, Wolf & Badger CEO & co-founder, said in prepared remarks.

The signing of the lease falls in line with the company’s plan to have key locations throughout the world, and aims to further strengthen the online-offline approach that the business continues to pioneer.
