Meridian Taps New VP of Client Services
Indrajit Obeysekere brings in more than three decades of real estate and legal experience.

San Francisco—Full-service real estate developer Meridian has hired senior healthcare executive & legal professional Indrajit Obeysekere as vice president of client services. Obeysekere will be overseeing business developments and facility acquisitions for Meridian’s major medical industry clients.
In his new role, Obeysekere will be using his experience in healthcare expansion, land use and real estate in order to assist Meridian’s healthcare group and improve its client services function.
Prior to joining Meridian, Obeysekere held several roles at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, Calif. He specialized in complex real estate acquisitions and land use law while working in the company’s legal department and, in 2006, he took up a leadership role with the national facilities division’s (NFS) executive leadership team. Between 2006 and 2013, Obeysekere held a leading position in the entitlements division of NFS, where he developed innovative partnerships with community groups, project opponents and municipalities, obtaining environmental clearances for hospital and medical office construction projects. Before joining Meridian, Obeysekere most recently served as Kaiser’s vice president of corporate real estate.
Obeysekere is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law.
