Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel Completes $120M Renovation

Toronto—The $120 million renovation of the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is now complete, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts announced this week. The 1,372-key hotel located in the heart of downtown Toronto underwent a full makeover of all guestrooms and suites, as well as an upgrade of its meeting and event space.

All the hotel’s guestrooms now feature new carpeting, vinyl, drapery, case goods, desks, chairs and LG LED 55-inch flat screen TVs. Additionally, the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel features fully renovated bathrooms and new custom-designed beds from Simmons.

“Toronto has blossomed into becoming one of the top destinations for both leisure and business travelers alike, and an important market for the Sheraton brand to be represented in,” Bob Jacobs, vice president of brand management at Sheraton North America, said in prepared remarks. “This renovation underscores our focus on continuously enhancing our portfolio, as well as evolving the guest experience to deliver an effortless travel experience for our guests.”

The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel has added the new Willow and Provincial ballrooms, bringing the hotel’s total meeting and event space to more than 130,000 square feet. The Grand Ballroom on the Lower Concourse Convention floor and the eight meeting rooms on the fourth floor of the Queen Tower have also undergone renovations. Furthermore, Sheraton has upgraded the hotel’s wireless internet system, resulting in the fastest internet connection and largest bandwidth among hotels in the Greater Toronto area.
