107-Key Boston-Area Resort Changes Ownership
Newport Hotel Group purchased Nantasket Beach Resort in Hull, Mass. An HFF investment advisory team has brokered the transaction.

HFF has brokered the sale of Nantasket Beach Resort, in the suburban Boston-area of Hull, Mass., on behalf of the vendor, Nantasket Resort Inc. Buyer Newport Hotel Group is a collection of boutique hotels located throughout New England, who also operates a property in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
Nantasket Beach Resort is situated at 45 Hull Shore Drive along Nantasket Beach, a seashore area attracting more than 200,000 visitors per year. The 107-key property, positioned 12 miles south of Boston, is the largest full-service hotel on the South Shore.
Renovated in 2016, the hotel offers guests rooms equipped with fireplaces, some of them having whirlpool baths and private balconies with ocean views. Other amenities include two restaurants—the Paragon Grill and Surf Lounge, an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, business center, the Beach Shack, an arcade and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
The HFF team representing the seller consisted of Managing Director Denny Meikleham, Senior Director Alan Suzuki and Director Matthew Enright. The same team facilitated a similar transaction in Maine.
