Hangout Lighting is a one-of-a-kind venue located in a beautifully restored 100-year-old factory building in Chicago. The first floor operates as our working lighting factory, where custom fixtures are designed and built, while the second floor houses our design-forward lighting showroom that doubles as an event loft and meeting space.
This blend of historic industrial architecture and modern design creates a space that feels both authentic and inspiring. High ceilings, original factory character, and dramatic custom lighting installations provide a backdrop that requires no added décor — making it as functional as it is stunning for business events, corporate meetings, workshops, and creative productions.
Amenities include:
* Spacious open floor plan with natural light * Flexible layouts; tables & chairs for up to 120 * High-speed WiFi & AV setup for presentations * Projector, screen & microphones * Kitchenette & catering-friendly prep area * Outdoor roof deck garden space * Central Chicago location with free parking & transit access * Lounge seating areas for informal breakouts * Private bathroom suite with shower * On-site staff support during events * Climate-controlled space for year-round comfort * Restrooms conveniently located for guests * Striking lighting design eliminates the need for extra décor Whether you need a polished backdrop for a photoshoot, a stylish space for a client presentation, or an offsite retreat environment, Hangout Lighting offers a flexible and inspiring setting that stands apart from standard office rentals.
