Steel Dynamics, founded in 1993, is one of the largest domestic steel producers and recycler in the U.S. Steel Dynamics began construction in 2021 in Sinton. There is continued industrial growth in Somerset Industrial Park. D.R. Horton development (affordable housing) currently consists of 92 homes in Phase I at the end of 2024 with an additional 70 finished lots available.
