Rockledge itself spans 11 square miles, making it the fifth largest area in Brevard County, and features a diverse mix of land uses, including single-family residences, apartments, retail spaces, offices, industrial sites, and institutional facilities. U.S. Highway 1 plays a crucial role in the neighborhood's connectivity, running through its eastern portion and serving as a high-speed link between Melbourne, Palm Shores, and Suntree to the south and Rockledge and Cocoa to the north. A new interchange was completed at the intersection of Viera Boulevard and Interstate 95, marking it as the third interchange in the area.
