The company purchased 1000 Old Brunerstown Road, an 835,000-square-foot industrial facility in Shelbyville, Ky., within the greater Louisville market. The purchase price was not disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M&amp;E Realty will focus on acquiring and repositioning real estate assets in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The company combines EDC&#8217;s real estate investment, development and asset-management capabilities with Maynards&#8217; global industrial network, valuation and asset-recovery expertise, according to the partners.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Epta and Maynards previously partnered on real estate investments in Canada and the United Kingdom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Shelbyville asset includes about 94,450 square feet of office space, with 14 dock doors and four drive-in doors, according to CBRE, which lists the property for lease. The property offers 30-foot to 60-foot clear heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M&amp;E Realty plans to implement a leasing and repositioning strategy at the property to attract manufacturing, logistics and other industrial tenants. New lease activity totaled 1.65 million square feet for the quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GE Appliances is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/ge-appliances-pours-1b-into-louisville-campus\/\">investing $1 billion<\/a> into the expansion and upgrade of GE Appliance Park, its manufacturing campus and global headquarters in Louisville. As part of its manufacturing reshoring&nbsp;push, the company plans to relocate production from Mexico to Louisville, starting in late 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August, Link Logistics acquired a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/link-logistics-acquires-louisville-infill-property\/\">402,444-square-foot last-mile industrial asset<\/a> at 5100 Jeff Commerce Drive in Louisville. The asset is in the Southside\/Airport submarket, near major logistics and manufacturing hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/crg-stag-kick-off-louisville-area-industrial-project\/\">partnership between CRG and STAG Industrial<\/a> started work on Park Loop @ I-65, an industrial development totaling 500,240 square feet in Shepherdsville, Ky., just south&nbsp;of Louisville.
