An additional $175 million in cash earnouts is tied to performance targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal would add Stockbridge\u2019s $16.5 billion in fee-generating assets under management to EQT\u2019s real estate platform. Stockbridge, with 185 U.S. employees across six offices, will operate as a business unit within EQT Real Estate after closing. Stockbridge CEO Terry Fancher will become vice chair of EQT Real Estate, reporting to EQT Global Head of Real Estate Henry Steinberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EQT Real Estate has more than doubled in size since 2021, the firm said in the news release. In August, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/eqt-sells-10-5-msf-logistics-portfolio\/\">the firm sold<\/a> a 46-building, 10.5 million-square-foot industrial portfolio to LBA Realty.
