The luxury property is anchored by a 582-key Ritz-Carlton and a 1,010-key JW Marriott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter, subject to customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Trinity, the sale is the largest nongaming U.S. resort transaction on record and follows the firm\u2019s renovation and repositioning of the resort. Trinity had acquired the resort in December 2018 for $870 million, with financial backing from Elliott Investment Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>READ ALSO: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/unlocking-hidden-value-in-obsolete-hotels\/\">Unlocking Hidden Value in Obsolete Hotels<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes was awarded a Michelin Key as part of the Michelin Guide\u2019s inaugural hotel rating program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The property features 320,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, 14 food and beverage outlets, a 40,000-square-foot spa with 40 treatment rooms and a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole championship golf course, which hosts the PGA Tour\u2019s PNC Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-still-sunny-in-florida\">Still sunny in Florida\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This will be Trinity\u2019s third disposition in 15 months. It follows the September 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/blackstone-lands-205m-for-miami-hotel\/\">sale of EAST Miami to Blackstone Real Estate<\/a> and the June 2025 sale of the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort &amp; Spa to Ryman Hospitality Properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other side of the ledger, in May Trinity acquired the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of year-end 2025, the Orlando hospitality sector had a room inventory of 132,685, with an average occupancy of 71.4 percent and an average daily rate of $202.71, according to Visit Orlando.
