AT&amp;T&#8217;s planned global headquarters is opening in 2028 on the site of the\u00a0former Electronic Data Systems campus in Plano. The communications giant is moving from downtown Dallas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>READ ALSO: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/how-hospitality-is-reshaping-the-modern-office\/\">How Hospitality Is Reshaping the Modern Office<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Built between 1998 and 2000, the\u00a0Tollway North\u00a0campus features flexible building configurations that support office and flex space users. Stream Realty Senior Vice Presidents Chase Lopez and James Mantzuranis, along with Senior Assoicate Sam Bass, will represent BH in leasing the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scott Henry, Newmark&#8217;s managing director of Texas acquisitions, represented BH in the deal. Newmark\u2019s Dallas team of Vice Chairmen Gary Carr, Chris Murphy and Robert Hill, plus Austin Sheahan, represented KBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tollway North occupies more than 27 acres at 6501-6513 Windcrest Drive and 5200-5208 Tennyson Parkway in Plano, adjacent to another business park, R&amp;D at Legacy, which BH acquired in early 2025. The latest deal brings the company&#8217;s ownership in the area to more than 675,000 square feet in 14 buildings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this acquisition, BH now owns 36 properties totaling more than 5.3 million square feet throughout Texas. Nationwide, the company owns more than 12 million square feet in 16 states. In January, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/bh-properties-picks-up-san-diego-office-campus\/\">BH Properties purchased<\/a> Mission City Corporate Center, a 285,876-square-foot office campus in San Diego, following the 2025 acquisition of roughly 1 million square feet of primarily office space across seven properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-investors-keen-on-dfw-office-market\">Investors keen on DFW office market<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dallas-Fort Worth office sector is among the nation\u2019s leading markets, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/dallas-office-market-update\/\">July Yardi Matrix report<\/a>. Investment volume in the market totaled nearly $1.4 billion year-to-date as of May, according to Yardi Matrix data, putting the Metroplex in the fourth position in the U.S. by dollar volume behind only Manhattan, San Francisco and the larger Bay Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In July, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/lone-star-funds-acquires-dallas-office-tower\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/lone-star-funds-acquires-dallas-office-tower\/\">Lone Star Funds acquired<\/a> Premier Place, a 20-story, 457,901-square-foot office tower in Dallas.
