The company said its board of directors expects to &#8220;identify&#8221; Gosin&#8217;s successor by the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newmark&nbsp;is ranked fourth on CPE\u2019s 2026 list of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/top-commercial-real-estate-brokerage-firms\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/top-commercial-real-estate-brokerage-firms\/\">top brokerage firms<\/a>, reporting $70.3 billion in investment sale volume and lease transactions valued at $48.5 billion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past decade, Newmark has more than doubled its share of U.S. investment sales and accomplished a fourfold increase in its share of the commercial and multifamily origination market, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>READ ALSO: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/cre-people-on-the-move\/\">CRE People on the Move<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Gosin\u2019s run as Newmark\u2019s leader has been marked by a series of major moves. In 2006, Newmark signed on as the U.S. affiliate of Knight Frank, the London-based services firm. That deal provided global reach and access to offices that now number about 340 in more than 40 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following that merger, Newmark Knight Frank steadily expanded its domestic footprint. A 2009 alliance with Smith Mack made inroads into the Philadelphia metropolitan area, southern New Jersey and Delaware. In 2010, it became a force in Silicon Valley through a merger with Cornish &amp; Carey Commercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another turning point came in 2011, when the company was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/newmark-to-get-snapped-up-by-bgc-partners-inc\/\">acquired by BGC Partners Inc. <\/a>&nbsp;by BGC Partners Inc. That deal involved 425 Newmark brokers and a majority stake in more than 25 offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2011, the company has expanded revenues by 1,400 percent and now encompasses upward of 10,000 employees in 195 locations. In 2017, Gosin led Newmark\u2019s initial public offering, and the firm was spun off from BGC Partners in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gosin has led the firm in the acquisition of more than 55 companies.
