Other marquee tenants at the historic structure include LinkedIn, Shutterstock, Booking Holdings and JCDecaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>READ ALSO: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/office-visits-surpass-2019-levels-in-miami-placer-ai\/\">Placer.ai June 2026 Office Visit Data<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>ESRT has spent more than $1 billion on upgrades for the landmark property in recent years, including major energy and environmental improvements. In December, the Empire State Building achieved LEED Platinum certification under the Existing Buildings: Operations + Maintenance Version 5 program, the highest level of recognition under the U.S. Green Building Council\u2019s latest standard, making the&nbsp;Empire State the first building in New York to achieve it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ESRT was represented in-house by Vice Presidents Jordan Berger and Shanae Ursini along with Senior Leasing Associate Kerry Lavelle. Additionally, a Newmark team of Vice Chairman Scott Klau, Executive Managing Directors Erik Harris and Brent Ozarowski, Managing Directors Neil Rubin and Zachary Weil, and Associate Director Cole Gendels also represented ESRT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UTA was represented by a JLL team of Vice Chairmen Mitchell Konsker and Benjamin Bass, along with Executive Vice President Harrison Potter, according to the <em>New York Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-strong-leasing-in-manhattan\">Strong leasing in Manhattan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Manhattan continues to see strong leasing and a decreasing vacancy rate among the office sector, according to a June <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/manhattan-office-market-update\/\">Yardi Matrix report<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other recent sizable leases in the city include asset management firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/commonfund-takes-entire-floor-at-midtown-office-tower\/\">Commonfund&#8217;s relocation <\/a>from Park Avenue to The Durst Organization\u2019s 825 Third Ave., in Manhattan\u2019s Midtown East. The tenant\u2019s 11,816-square-foot lease represents the entire 22nd floor at the 521,707-square-foot property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And earlier in July, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/investment-firm-takes-20-ksf-at-manhattan-trophy-tower\/\">Anchorage Capital Advisors<\/a> signed a 20,560-square-foot lease across two floors at 125 W. 57th St. in Manhattan.
