The acquisition adds 12 professionals to the company&#8217;s tenant advisory platform along with a property management portfolio totaling nearly 1 million square feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2021 through the merger of Excelsior Advisory and Paramount Real Estate Corp., Forte specializes in health-care, office and industrial real estate brokerage and property services across the Minneapolis-St. Paul market. Since its formation, the company has advised clients on more than $885 million in commercial real estate transactions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>READ ALSO:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/ma-activity-to-rebound-this-year\/\">M&amp;A Activity to Rebound This Year<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Forte founders Steve Brown, Jim Jetland and Philip Simonet will join Transwestern. Brown will become part of the firm&#8217;s Minneapolis health-care group, while Jetland and Simonet will continue supporting the growth of its office and industrial tenant advisory business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the acquisition, Transwestern will have approximately 475 employees across the Midwest and oversee more than 52 million square feet of office, industrial, health-care, retail and government properties. The Forte team will relocate to its Minneapolis office at 705 Marquette Ave. S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-transwestern-strengthens-midwestern-presence\">Transwestern strengthens midwestern presence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The transaction strengthens Transwestern&#8217;s presence in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market as brokerage firms continue to expand sector-specific expertise through acquisitions, particularly in health-care and industrial real estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commercial real estate&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/whats-behind-the-surge-in-ma-privatization-activity\/\">mergers and acquisitions activity<\/a> is surging in 2026, supported by recovering debt markets, abundant private capital and a broader acceptance of the current interest-rate environment.
