The Feil Organization has signed architectural and engineering firm HDR to a long-term, 74,500-square-foot lease at Manhattan\u2019s 7 Penn Plaza. HDR will occupy the 15th through 17th floors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the transaction and following renovations, The Feil Organization will deliver a new 14,000-square-foot rooftop amenity for the building\u2019s tenants. The rooftop will feature new furniture, landscaping, communal seating areas and city-wide views. On-site retail includes PopUp Bagels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a spokesperson for HDR, the firm is the largest employee-owned company in the U.S. architecture and engineering industry by employee count. HDR will be relocating from 500 7th Ave, a 17-floor tower owned by The Moinian Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located at 370 Seventh Ave., 7 Penn Plaza is a 357,000-square-foot, 18-story tower that is adjacent to Madison Square Garden and The Paramount Theatre. The building is close to Pennsylvania Station, providing access to the Long Island Railroad, NJ Transit, Amtrak and various MTA Subway lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven Penn Plaza was completed in 1921 and is a Class B property, according to Yardi Matrix. Among the building\u2019s other tenants is the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, which has its national headquarters there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Feil Organization was represented in-house by Head of Commercial Leasing Andrew Wiener and Director of Commercial Leasing Kyle Young. JLL represented HDR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
