As with our list of top podcasts<\/a>, one expectation when putting together this lineup was that we’d end up with a collection of the most visible mainstays, a directory of C-suite movers and shakers. And once again, we were, in part, very wrong. What we offer below is an eclectic mix of highly reliable, highly consistent and persistent influencers and social media accounts. This list reflects not only the abundance of interesting and informative industry pros out there but also the diversity of topics we follow across social media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s our list of 2026 social media accounts and influencers that CRE professionals need to follow, in this year\u2019s third installment of CPE Recommends<\/a><\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gabriel Frank, Senior Associate Editor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. <\/strong>CEO & CIO of Fifth Wall Brendan Wallace<\/a><\/strong> stands out to me because his posts actually seldom discuss tech, but rather talk about the work and lifestyle-related trends that are affecting CRE the most. His valuable on-the-ground perspectives are often informed by close relationships with high-profile real estate and tech industry figures. Whenever I’m writing a story about the venture capital world, I always check to see what’s on his radar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. ArchDaily<\/a><\/strong> delivers the perfect mix of stunning visuals, sharp insights and real-world design inspiration. It\u2019s informative, educational and impossible to scroll past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Corina Stef, Senior Associate Editor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Linda Day Harrison<\/a><\/strong>, founder of theBrokerList.com, covers everything from new technologies and trends to the must-attend conferences in the industry. She\u2019s an active presence on LinkedIn and other social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Claudiu Tiganescu, Associate Editor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. <\/strong>Broker\/CRE social media influencer Aviva Sonenreich<\/a><\/strong> does short videos explaining various facets of CRE, from comparisons between multifamily and industrial to CMBS analysis. I take great joy in observing her approach and exploring CRE through her quirky and humorous filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Laura Valean, Senior Editor<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. <\/strong>I really admire Barbi Reuter<\/a><\/strong>. She\u2019s the CEO of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR in Arizona and a former CREW Network president, with deep experience across brokerage, property management and CRE operations. I find her especially valuable for her thoughtful leadership perspective, mentorship and sharp take on where the industry is headed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. <\/strong>I also love following Chris Ressa<\/a><\/strong>. As COO of DLC Management Corp., he\u2019s deeply involved in running a large retail portfolio, and that hands-on experience really shows. Between his posts and his Retail Retold podcast, he does a great job blending real, on-the-ground deal experience with smart, strategic CRE thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Madalina Pojoga, Associate Editor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. <\/strong>Architecture and design magazine Dezeen is a prolific publication and a must for people in this industry. Its international profile provides a helpful view into what is happening globally in terms of trends, policies and culture. I follow Dezeen’s Instagram page<\/a><\/strong> for all its latest news and I regularly check for any spotlight on U.S. adaptive reuse projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Therese Fitzgerald, Executive Editor<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8.<\/strong> Almost daily and with iPhone in hand, Bill Montana<\/a><\/strong> of Savills New York takes his followers to a particular street, building or space for lease and enthusiastically tells its story. I share his obvious zest for the city, but I wish I had his energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9.<\/strong> With engaging posts and a LinkedIn newsletter, BJ Feller<\/a><\/strong> of Northmarq has an ear to the ground on the NNN retail market. I follow Feller for fresh insights on retail trends and trendsetters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Diana Firtea, Associate Editor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10.<\/strong> Paul Fiorilla<\/a><\/strong> always shares the latest, most interesting updates on affordable housing and multifamily\u2014easy to follow and great for staying in the loop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Bogdan Odagescu, Senior Editor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11.<\/strong> Jay Parsons<\/a><\/strong> covers multifamily and SFR\/BTR. He adds greatly to the conversation across platforms, but his LinkedIn page is a nice starting point.
