The three had previously advised clients as part of CBRE\u2019s Urban Retail Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Savills, they will focus on urban core, luxury and Class A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/street-retail-surges-toward-full-recovery\/\">high-street retail<\/a> in premier markets, including New York City\u2019s Fifth Avenue, Los Angeles\u2019 Rodeo Drive and Chicago\u2019s Magnificent Mile. The team represents decades of experience working with many of the world\u2019s most prominent landlords, retailers and investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siegel promised \u201ca boutique-level attention backed by a global platform.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Savills did not reply to <em>Commercial Property Executive<\/em>\u2019s request for additional information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-small-spaces-big-growth-nbsp\">Small spaces, big growth&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>U.S. luxury retail space openings surged in the first half of this year, growing by 65 percent year-over-year, the International Council of Shopping Centers reported in September, citing data from JLL. Those openings totaled about 227,000 square feet, and the largest share comprised locations of 2,000 square feet or less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three New York submarkets\u2014Madison Avenue, Fifth Avenue and SoHo\u2014took the top spots by submarket for luxury retail openings, from July 2024 to July 2025.
