Vantive had been acquired in February for $3.8 billion by funds managed by the Carlyle Group. The landlord is New York City\u2013based Opal Holdings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vantive reportedly plans to put $23 million into the Class A, 1980s-vintage, four-building campus on Lake-Cook Road. Part of that is presumably being covered by a 10-year state income tax credit agreement, which is contingent on Vantive retaining its current 219 employees and adding 50 more full-time positions at the company\u2019s new headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last September, Carlyle made a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/carlyle-commits-1b-to-north-bridge-for-c-pace-financing\/\">strategic investment<\/a> into real estate financing provider North Bridge ESG LLC, along with a commitment to provide up to $1 billion to facilitate the origination of commercial property assessed clean energy (C-PACE) loans by North Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>North Bridge founder and CEO Laura Rapaport described the commitment to C-PACE as the company\u2019s largest to date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This marks the company\u2019s 10th and largest investment vehicle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":882,"featured_media":1004767431,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21808,21748,21783,23891,21742],"tags":[36109],"class_list":["post-1004767421","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-featured","category-industrial","category-investment","category-national","category-latest","tag-the-carlyle-group"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v23.4 (Yoast SEO v24.6) -
