Under a 19-year deal, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/vornado-signs-200-ksf-tenant-in-manhattan\/\">Verizon will lease <\/a>more than 195,000 square feet of office space on the eighth through 10th floors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-former-printing-crafts-building\">The former Printing Crafts Building<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Haymes Investment has been the owner of 5 Penn since 1981, when the company acquired the property for $6.6 million, according to Yardi Research Data. Originally known as the Printing Crafts Building, the 24-story tower features 30,000 square foot floorplates, 10 elevators and a 28,977-square-foot showroom.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Built in 1917, the building underwent several cosmetic renovations between 2006 and 2024. The most recent upgrades include a new lobby, an amenity center featuring conferencing facilities, fitness center, golf simulator, podcast room and a dog-friendly roof deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other tenants at 5 Penn include NY E-Health Collaborative, Dynatrace, Noom, Altus, Octaura, Veolia and Dewberry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JLL team working on behalf of the owner included Vice Chairman Mitch Konsker, Executive Managing Directors Christine Colley, Greg Wang and Dan Turkewitz, together with Associate Vice President Kristen Morgan and Associate Kate Roush.
