To avoid pitfalls and subsequent issues, real estate strategy is one aspect that requires special attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCRE leaders need to be involved in those key upfront stages so they know where the business plans to grow and contract in the two to three years post-merger, so that they can configure de footprint and the real estate operating model to meet the business where the business is at the right time,\u201d said Rob Raymond, managing director in FTI Consulting\u2019s Real Estate Solutions Group, in the second <em>FTI Experts\u2019 Hub<\/em> podcast this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/is-ma-activity-back-in-commercial-real-estate\/\">M&amp;A activity<\/a> is far from its 2021-2022 peak levels, there\u2019s a lot of dry powder out there and deals are wanting to be made, even though buyers and sellers are having a hard time agreeing on the price.
