Commercial Property Executive<\/em>\u00a0compiled the 2025 list of the\u00a0top 20 commercial real estate brokerage firms<\/a>. Overall, these leading companies brokered sales amounting to $482 billion in the past year, marking a $32 billion increase year-over-year. The brokerage firms often have a worldwide presence, with a wide net of offices, and in the accompanying chart\u00a0CPE\u00a0<\/em>examined the evolution of the number of offices between 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deep market knowledge is one of the driving forces behind brokerage firms, so strategic decisions also extend to relocations, with the closing of some offices and the opening of others. Overall, headquarters relocation is a growing trend. Between 2018 and 2024, more than\u00a0550 HQ relocations<\/a>\u00a0took place, with 96 moves in 2024 alone, according to a recent CBRE report. Dallas rose as the top destination for relocations, with Texas in the lead when it comes to states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
