Lincoln Property Co<\/strong>.\u2019s Southwest arm, LPC Desert West, has commenced construction on Luke Field, a $515 million Class A industrial project totaling 2.4 million square feet in Glendale, Ariz.<\/p>\n

Maricopa County\u2019s Board of Supervisors Chairman Clint Hickman joined the developer at the groundbreaking ceremony, along with other project partners.<\/p>\n

The development team also includes Layton Construction<\/strong> as general contractor and Butler Design Group<\/strong> as architect of record. Leasing efforts will be led by Lincoln Property Co., while the project’s completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024. The company also received $141 million in construction financing from Bank OZK<\/strong>, CommercialEdge data shows.<\/p>\n

A $515 million project in the West Valley<\/h2>\n

The industrial campus will rise adjacent to Luke Air Force Base, which is hosting the largest fighter wing in the U.S., and where Lincoln Property Co.\u2019s Senior Executive Vice President David Krumwiede and Vice President John Orsak served as Honorary Commanders. Luke Field will be developed in a single phase and will consist of the 695,750-square-foot Building A, the 454,761-square-foot Building B and the 1.3 million-square-foot Building C.<\/p>\n

Features of Luke Field\u2019s building will include 40-foot clear heights, ESFR sprinkler systems, 608-foot building depth, insulated grade-level and overhead dock-high doors, R-38 insulated roof deck systems, 3,000 to 12,000 amps of power, generous clerestory windows allowing natural light and sky views, and a total of 535 trailer parking spots and 1,435 vehicle parking spots. Additionally, the buildings will also feature speculative office suites, while the outdoor amenities will include employee collaboration areas, barbeque stations and a shaded outdoor eating area.<\/p>\n

The 140-acre logistics project will sit close to Loop 303, allowing quick connections to interstates 10 and 17. This strategic location will allow future tenants easy access to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Inland Empire, Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach. Luke Field\u2019s corporate neighbors include Amazon, Boeing, Microsoft, Walmart, XPO Logistics and FedEx, among others. Lincoln Property Co.’s team of Senior Vice President John Orsak, Director of Real Estate Nick Nudo and Associate Director of Real Estate Justin Arnitz are the appointed leasing brokers in charge of the project.<\/p>\n

Other impressive industrial projects in the company’s pipeline include Windsor Commerce Park<\/a>, 1.6 million-square-foot development in North Las Vegas. The company broke ground on the development in April. The project, scheduled to come online in late 2024, marks Lincoln Property’s first ground-up industrial project in Nevada.<\/p>\n

In January, the developer started construction on another Phoenix-area massive industrial property<\/a>: Goodyear AirPark in Goodyear, Ariz. Developed in a partnership with Harvard Investments<\/strong>, the industrial campus will encompass 7 million square feet spread across 20 buildings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
