Joint Industry Board of Electrical Industry <\/strong>has signed a 30,000-square-foot lease agreement with landlord JEMB Realty <\/strong>at Herald Center in Manhattan. Savills U.S. <\/strong>represented the tenant, while Newmark <\/strong>worked on behalf of the owner.<\/p>\n

The location will serve as a training and education center for the Electrical Industry Apprentice Training Program and the Educational and Cultural Trust Fund of the Electrical Industry. It will also provide a satellite office for Local Union No. 3, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO.<\/p>\n

JEMB Realty has been managing the 10-story 250,000-square-foot building for almost four decades. Originally a retail destination, the property was converted into office in 2015, according to CommercialEdge data. Other tenants at the property include ASA College, Bank of America, Verizon and H&M.<\/p>\n

In the heart of Midtown Manhattan<\/h2>\n

Located at 1293 Broadway, at the corner of 34th Street and Broadway, the building is in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Additionally, the property is located near the 33rd Street and 34th Street \u2013 Herald Square metro stations, providing public transport options.<\/p>\n

Savills U.S. Vice Chairman & Co-Branch Manager Kenneth Ruderman represented JIBEI. Newmark\u2019s Executive Vice Chairman Brian Waterman, Executive Managing Director Brent Ozarowski and Director Kevin Sullivan, along with Associate Director Cole Gendels facilitated the agreement on JEMB Realty\u2019s behalf.
