We are asking about your firm\u2019s use of artificial intelligence across its many operations. The technology is rapidly growing, and has made waves in the CRE world through its usefulness in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/harnessing-the-power-of-proptech-in-industrial-property-management\/\">data analysis<\/a> and property management, attracting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/cre-is-still-hungry-for-proptech-but-tastes-are-more-refined\/\">considerable investment<\/a> from venture capital firms.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, we asked readers about their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/poll-results-biggest-challenges-of-h2-2023\/\">biggest challenges<\/a> going into the second half of the year, and how they may have changed compared to those identified from a poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/poll-cres-biggest-challenges-in-2023\/\">conducted in December<\/a>. In a mirror image to results from six months prior, 62 percent of respondents identified interest rates and the availability of capital for new investments as their biggest challenge, an unchanging difficulty in light of the current federal funds rate and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/cre-brokers-power-through-decline-in-deals\/\">latent obstacles<\/a> towards closing new deals. Other hurdles, such as an anticipated or ongoing recession, as well as inflationary pressures, were identified as secondary concerns.
