Health-care real estate developer PMB<\/strong> is expanding its partnership with Sutter Health<\/strong> and beginning construction of a four-story, 100,000-square-foot medical office building on the Sutter Roseville Medical Center campus in Roseville, Calif. The building is slated to open in the summer of 2024.<\/p>\n

Located at 7 Medical Plaza Drive, the building will house the Graduate Medical Education<\/strong> program, which will provide training and education for future physicians to support Sutter Health\u2019s system. The remainder of the space will be occupied by Sutter Valley Medical Foundation<\/strong> and provide cardiovascular, bariatric, dermatology, MOHS, rheumatology and endocrinology services.<\/p>\n

Sutter Health serves<\/a> more than 100 northern California cities and towns. The Sutter Medical Network includes many of California\u2019s top-performing, highest quality physician organizations. Sutter-affiliated hospitals are regional leaders in cardiac care, women\u2019s and children\u2019s services, cancer care, orthopedics and advanced patient safety technology.<\/p>\n

In addition to PMB, the project team includes Sacramento, Calif.,-based companies Dreyfuss & Blackford<\/strong> as architect and Westfork Construction<\/strong> as general contractor. Ventas REIT<\/strong> is the equity partner in the project. Siemens<\/strong> and First Horizon Bank<\/strong> are the construction lenders. Details on the financing were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Recent PMD developments<\/strong><\/p>\n

In October, PMB, in partnership with Providence St. Joseph Hospital<\/strong>, topped out the Helen Caloggero Women\u2019s & Family Center<\/a> in Orange, Calif. The company broke ground on the 137,000-square-foot medical office building in 2021 and completion is expected later this year. The four-story medical facility will house a mother and baby assessment center, maternal diabetes and wellness, pelvic health and rehabilitation and provide imaging, urology, orthopedics and ophthalmology services.<\/p>\n

A month earlier, PMB and Montgomery Street Partners<\/strong> announced plans for the $280 million Coal Creek Innovation Park, the first speculative purpose-built life science project in Boulder County, Colo.<\/a> The companies expect to break ground this year on the 365,000-square-foot project in Superior, Colo., and complete development in the third quarter of 2024.
