Moreover, when women ask for a raise, they obtain it 15 percent of the time, while men obtain a pay increase 20 percent of the time, Harvard Business Review research shows.<\/p>\n<p>While it is true that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/crew-up-does-gen-z-want-to-work-in-cre\/\">younger generations<\/a> are more inclined to ask for what they think they deserve than older generations\u2014which expect their superiors to notice they\u2019re working very hard and give them a raise or a promotion\u2014there\u2019s still a long way to go to close the compensation gap in commercial real estate.<\/p>\n<p>To amplify the sound of women\u2019s demands beyond the corner office, two female CRE leaders joined forces: Kaitlin Kincaid, principal &amp; founder of search and advisory firm <strong>Keller Augusta<\/strong>, and Wendy Mann, CEO of <strong>CREW Network<\/strong>.
