Neiman Marcus Group <\/strong>has opted to relocate its Dallas corporate headquarters from its downtown location to the 42-story Cityplace Tower in Uptown.<\/p>\n

Owned by Highland Capital Management<\/strong>, the 1.4 million-square-foot building is LEED Silver-certified, CommercialEdge data shows. While the luxury retailer plans to keep additional office space on top of its flagship store, the company plans to finalize the move by early 2023.<\/p>\n

Plans for its Dallas Hub include updating and customizing the space with the help of Gensler<\/strong> and design company Ideo<\/strong>. Neiman Marcus Group will take over 85,000 square feet of Class A office space across three floors, The Dallas Morning News <\/em>reported.<\/p>\n

The relocation comes on the heels of an approximately $5.3 million incentive agreement approved by the Dallas City Council in May. The package includes an up to $5 million Chapter 380 job retention and creation economic development grant intended to sway Neiman Marcus to keep its headquarters in the city.<\/p>\n

The multi-tenant building at 2711 N. Haskell Ave. features floor plates between 25,000 and 34,809 square feet with a 3,275-spot  parking offering a ratio of 3 spaces per 1,000 square feet. Cityplace Tower includes a fitness center with locker rooms and showers, a conference facility, an amphitheater and a cafe along with easy access to the DART Cityplace\/Uptown Station.<\/p>\n

The tenant roster includes Lone Star Funds, BH Management, Aon and Headington Cos., among others. The Dallas-Fort Worth office market<\/a> closed the second quarter with a vacancy rate of 17.9 percent, representing a 30-basis-point increase year-over-year as well as a 60-basis-point rise compared to the first quarter, CommercialEdge shows.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
