Image courtesy of JLL<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>The Rockefeller Group<\/strong> has broken ground on Rockefeller Logistics Park, a 172,622-square-foot development in the Bay Shore neighborhood of Long Island, N.Y., the <em>Long Island Business News <\/em>reported. The company paid $32 million for the 10.8-acre parcel back in 2020, according to the publication.<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2023, the project will include a Class A industrial building, as well as 7,317 square feet of office mezzanine and 21,280 square feet of storage mezzanine space. The development will also feature minimum 36-foot clear heights, 2,500 amps power, ESFR sprinklers, 40 trailer doors and 270 parking spaces. <strong>JLL Capital Markets<\/strong> is leasing the property, <strong>Aurora Contractors<\/strong> is the general contractor of the project, while <strong>KSS Architects<\/strong> will lead the design efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 55 Paradise Lane, the development will be less than 2 miles from Southern State Parkway and within 6.5 miles of Interstate 495, connecting it to J.F.K. Airport and Newark Elizabeth Port. Other tenants in the area include KBG Commercial Inc., Water Lilies Food and Summit Manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>The Rockefeller Group also owns two adjacent warehouses less than a mile from the new project, totaling 437,998 square feet at 145 &amp; 158 Candlewood Road. Duro Dyne Corporation, Lindenmeyr Munroe and Rubie\u2019s Costume Co. are the tenants of the buildings.<\/p>\n<p>The company has recently unveiled plans for another three-building, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/rockefeller-group-plans-san-diego-area-industrial-park\/\">201,200-square-foot industrial park<\/a> in Chula Vista, Calif.
