Image courtesy of AQUILA Commercial<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Capital City Partners<\/strong> has signed a lease renewal with tech consulting giant <strong>Accenture <\/strong>at its office complex in Southwest Austin. The tech company will continue to occupy 37,800 square feet of office space at the five-building complex, which has a total of 160,650 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>Located on more than 18 acres at 5700 S. Mopac Expressway, the single-story Monterey Oaks office park was built in 1998 and is home to Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and chemical science company Sachem Inc., among other tenants, according to CommercialEdge.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/office-leasing-strategies-for-the-new-landscape\/\">Office Leasing Strategies for the New Landscape<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Terms of the lease renewal were not disclosed, however, the firm last renewed its lease 5 years ago, according to a press release from 2017. Last month, Accenture publicly released <a href=\"https:\/\/investor.accenture.com\/~\/media\/Files\/A\/Accenture-IR-V3\/quarterly-earnings\/2022\/q2fy22\/q2fy22-earnings-release.pdf\">its second quarter financial results<\/a>, which showed the company&#8217;s revenues at $15 billion, a 24 percent increase from the same time period last year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AQUILA Commercial<\/strong>\u2019s Managing Principal Chad Barrett represented the landlord in the lease deal, while <strong>CBRE <\/strong>Senior Vice President Marc Vanderslice worked on behalf of the tenant.<\/p>\n<p>As of March, the office vacancy rate across Greater Austin jumped 50 basis points month-over-month coming to 15.9 percent, in line with the national average, CommercialEdge data shows. In the same month, AQUILA represented <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/kimley-horn-extends-and-expands-lease-at-austin-campus\/\">Kimley-Horn in <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/kimley-horn-extends-and-expands-lease-at-austin-campus\/\">extending its lease<\/a> at Campus at Arboretum totaling 317,920 square feet in the city\u2019s Northwest submarket.
