By some accounts, the forecast for industrial demand is better today than it was before the pandemic hit.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"display: inline-block; padding: 5px 24px; border: 0; border-radius: 6px; font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: 0.0625em; text-transform: uppercase; background: #960505; color: #ffffff; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/mydigitalpublication.com\/publication\/?i=675845&amp;ver=html5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">READ THE DIGEST<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Prologis, the world\u2019s largest owner of commercial warehouses, estimates that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/amazon-to-open-8th-distribution-center-in-florida\/\">e-commerce customers<\/a> require 1.2 million square feet of distribution space to support each $1 billion in sales. The blizzard of online sales is strengthening logistics hubs such as Kansas City, Kan., where fashion and lifestyle retailer Urban Outfitters announced in August it would build a $350 million omnichannel distribution center to support the company\u2019s digital growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeasing volume has been strong, and the number of inquiries has been very strong,\u201d said Rick John, executive vice president &amp; branch manager at Daum Commercial Real Estate Services.
