Going to the movies is still prohibited in a number of states, such as New York and California.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Airbnb files draft IPO while many hotels are on the verge.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Many were scratching their heads this week when Airbnb quietly filed for an IPO. Leisure and business travel is still restricted, leaving many traditional hotel operators in dire straits. And, after coronavirus hit, the short-term rental provider laid off 25 percent of its workers due to widespread reservation cancellations. But the home-sharing business has been rebounding since March, and technology companies are doing better than brick and mortar companies overall.
