As of July 31, 2020, publicly traded U.S. equity REITs posted a one-year average dividend yield of 3.7 percent.<\/p>\n

The regional mall REIT sector recorded the highest one-year average dividend yield among the group, at 8.5 percent, outperforming the broader SNL U.S. REIT Equity Index by 4.79 percentage points.The health care and diversified REIT sectors followed with 5.4 percent and 5.5 percent one-year average dividend yields, respectively.<\/p>\n

On the other end of the spectrum, the manufactured homes REIT sector logged the lowest average dividend yield at 2.1 percent, however outperformed the 10-Year T-Note by 83 basis points.<\/p>\n

The regional mall REIT sector posted the highest one-year average dividend yield among the group, at 6.1 percent, outperforming the broader SNL U.S. REIT Equity Index by 2.4 percentage points. The hotel and diversified sectors followed with 5.9 percent and 5.2 percent one-year average dividend yields, respectively.<\/p>\n

On the other end of the spectrum, the manufactured homes sector logged the lowest average dividend yield at 2.1 percent, but it stayed ahead of the 10-Year T-Note by 13 basis points.<\/p>\n
