Savills has named Cameron MacKellar as managing director in its Detroit office. His focus will be project management. Previously, he served as senior tenant coordinator at Dan Gilbert’s Bedrock<\/a>. His new role will involve leading a team of tenant-focused brokers specializing in office and industrial leasing and providing consulting, strategic planning and similar services.<\/p>\n

MacKellar has more than fifteen years of combined experience in real estate, architecture and construction. He has overseen Fortune 500 portfolios and has delivered specialty projects for golf courses, casinos, resorts and hotels across the globe. Before joining Bedrock, he was director of construction for Impact Fitness.<\/p>\n

The newly appointed Savills manager has a B.A. degree in architecture from the University of South Australia, an M.A. degree in environmental design from Michigan State University and is currently pursuing an MBA in real estate from Florida State University. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, the International Council of Shopping Centers and CoreNet Global.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
