The partnership will also include the DeBartolo-York family, the Boardman Township and its park district. The announcement was coupled with the beginning of major renovations at the Southern Park Mall. The redevelopment will coincide with the mall\u2019s 50th anniversary next year.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 7401 Market St., the Southern Park Mall serves roughly 565,000 residents of the Greater Youngstown MSA and is adjacent to the recently renovated Cinemark Theaters. The improvements will consist of a 37,000-square-foot indoor golf center and accompanying restaurant, an entertainment venue, and new dining options.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Washington Prime Group entered into an agreement with Safari Energy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/washington-prime-group-adheres-to-solar-rooftop-systems\/\">to install solar panels on the rooftops of two malls<\/a> in Yorktown Heights, N.Y., and Stockton, Calif.
