The new tenants will occupy floors 31 through 34 and part of the 35<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer of 2020, the law firm will move from its current location at 1740 Broadway. Davis &amp; Gilbert will relocate to the 1989-built Class A building in a space that provides the ability to layout a mix of private offices, meeting spaces, conference rooms and up to 10 corner offices per floor.<\/p>\n<p>Designed by Fox and Fowle Architects, 1675 Broadway is at the corner of Broadway and West 52<sup>nd<\/sup> streets, steps from several subway lines. The building is Wired Certified Platinum and has an Italian marble-clad lobby with vaulted ceilings, virtually column-free floorplates and a 60-car parking garage. Three pre-built office suites on the 18<sup>th<\/sup> floor, ranging in size from 7,148 square feet to 12,921 square feet, remain available for lease.<\/p>\n<p>Davis &amp; Gilbert was represented by Lewis Miller, Scott Gottlieb, Brian Gell and Michael Wellen of CBRE. The new 15-year lease was negotiated in-house by Davis &amp; Gilbert partners Robert Karin, Mark Maltz and Glenn Motelson. Robert Steinman, senior vice president at Rudin Management Co. acted on behalf of the building ownership. Rudin was represented by Pamela Leibow and Steven Fenton of Goldfarb &amp; Fleece.<\/p>\n<h2>In good company<\/h2>\n<p>The new tenant joins two other law firms with new leases at 1675 Broadway: Robert &amp; Holland and Ballard Spahr, which announced in June 2017 it had signed a 10-year, 27,000-square-foot lease for the entire 19<sup>th<\/sup> floor. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/law-firm-signs-full-floor-lease-at-rudins-1675-broadway\/\">Ballard Spahr was scheduled to move in<\/a> early 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Other tenants include financial services firm Spielman Koenigsberg &amp; Parker, fintech firm Bankrate and global advertising and media company Publicis Group, which recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/publicis-groupe-inks-1-msf-lease-at-nyc-home\/\">renewed its lease<\/a> at another Manhattan location\u2014375 Hudson St. The firm renewed its 680,000-square-foot lease at the 18-story Midtown South tower and expanded it by an additional 280,000 square feet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next summer, Davis &#038; Gilbert will relocate to Rudin\u2019s 1675 Broadway, a Midtown trophy tower.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1068,"featured_media":1004350586,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21784,21743,21808,1600,21742,10,21747],"tags":[32789,33000],"class_list":["post-1004350559","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-brokerage","category-deals","category-featured","category-new-york","category-latest","category-northeast","category-office","tag-cbre","tag-rudin-management-company"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.0 (Yoast SEO v28.0) -
