Based in the Boston office, he will be responsible for the firm\u2019s day-to-day operations in the Boston and Hartford, Conn., locations. He will also lead Avison\u2019s regional expansion strategy and recruit talent in the New England area.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Avison Young, Collins founded and served as CEO of consulting firm Collins Strategies. Before that, he was managing director for Atlantic Retail Properties. Between 1994 and 2014, he served as Cushman &amp; Wakefield\u2019s executive managing director in the New England region. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Collins holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bentley University. He is a member of NAIOP Massachusetts and former NAIOP State board member. Collins has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance since 2005 and currently serves as its chair.
