They\u2019re more productive in these types of environments.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>CommonGrounds&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/coworking-grows-in-san-diego-as-biotech-vc-stumbles\/\">bagged $100 million in Series A funding<\/a> in January to grow its workplace-as-a-service platform to roughly 50 sites over the next two years.<\/p>\n<p>Darlene Pope, who serves as global head of WeWork\u2019s smart building and digital workplace strategy, reckons that larger corporate clients make up 40 percent of the brand\u2019s business.&nbsp;<em>\u201cWe see a lot of the drive from some of our enterprise clients that already have their own facilities in major markets, and are looking for supplemental space in secondary markets, where they may be a WeWork member,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n<p>The business owned by The We Cos. is opening an average of one to two locations per day, and the entire portfolio has a roughly 90 percent occupancy rate.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe scale right now is massive,\u201d<\/em> Pope said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Enterprise users are shaking up the real estate industry by demanding better spaces for their employees, say executives at flexible office firms WeWork, Industrious and CommonGrounds Workplace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":744,"featured_media":1004331035,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21784,21781,21808,23891,21742,21747],"tags":[45395,33383,40594,33678],"class_list":["post-1004331014","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-brokerage","category-corporate-real-estate","category-featured","category-national","category-latest","category-office","tag-commongrounds","tag-industrious","tag-realcomm-conference-group","tag-wework"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v23.4 (Yoast SEO v24.6) -
