The company will bring its brand to the U.K. and Ireland, adding to the firm\u2019s existing locations in 25 countries across the globe. The membership-based coworking community was launched in 2012 and is a member of United Franchise Group.<\/p>\n<p>The coworking firm has previously expanded its platform in the U.S., Canada and Australia. The U.S.-based firm first launched in 2012 and has since signed leases for more than 80 locations in 25 countries, with a short-term goal of opening 21 locations by the end of the second quarter 2019.<\/p>\n<h2>Expansion plans<\/h2>\n<p>The U.K. and Ireland rollout will be led by partners Andrew Ross and Tom Foster, who told <em>Commercial Property Executive<\/em> that they wanted to bring <em>\u201csomething different\u201d<\/em> to these markets and London in particular, which has been at the forefront of product and innovation.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLondon is the largest flexible workspace market in the world<\/em>,\u201d Ross and Foster told <em>CPE<\/em>. <em>\u201cThe capital offers businesses an incredible breadth of product, and this permeates out to the rest of the country.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ross and Foster are focused on opening the London flagship of Venture X this year and will then turn their attention to Dublin and other major business hubs in the U.K. and Ireland.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cVenture X has also had great success in the U.S. reaching out to smaller, underserved business communities, which is something we will look to replicate here,\u201d <\/em>the partners said.<\/p>\n<p>Last fall, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/coworking-firm-expands-san-antonio-lease\/\">expanded its lease<\/a> in San Antonio by 7,600 square feet.
