The project marks Lendlease\u2019s first energy development in California and the fifth one of its type in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The plant will be located on the premises of the decommissioned Rancho Seco Nuclear Generation Station and, upon completion, will be the largest solar facility in the county. It is scheduled to begin construction this year, with completion slated by the end of 2020.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/lendlease-and-the-green-revolution\/\">Lendlease\u2019s current project pipeline<\/a> exceeds 2 gigawatts. Among its development projects is the 60-acre Cooperative Solar Farm One Facility in Clark County, Ky.\u2014a solar farm with 32,300 solar panels capable of producing up to 8.5 megawatts of electricity.
