The development will be a flagship for the hotel brand in the country. The company signed an agreement with land owners QLong Investments Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>Built on approximately 370 acres of land, the hotel will be located less than 13 miles from The Remarkables Ski Field, minutes from the Queenstown Airport and other dining, shopping and entertainment venues. Scheduled for completion in 2021, Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is set to feature an all-day dining and bar venue, meeting facilities and a fitness center.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the property is set to include student housing, residential units, a retirement village, childcare, a hospital and a jet ferry service connecting Remakables Quay to Queenstown Bay and other parks and trails.<\/p>\n<p>IHG has 47 hotels operating under four brands in Autralasia and plans to expand with various Holiday Inn signings across the area.
