Aside from procurement activities, his new responsibilities will include the management of the leasing, space planning, interior design and marketing divisions. This includes coordinating all broker and client relation activities, as well as creating advertising and public relations programs.<\/p>\n<p>Doordan has worked for the company since 2005 and previously occupied the position of senior vice president in the acquisitions department. <em>\u201cSean\u2019s knowledge, skill set and diversified experience in all phases of the real estate development process makes him the perfect individual for this expanded role with the company,\u201d<\/em> said Lawrence Maykrantz, president of St. John Properties, in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n<p>Doordan serves on several boards, including the Real Estate and Infrastructure Advisory Board for the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, as well as the Board of Directors for Providence Center and the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business management from University of Delaware and a master&#8217;s degree of real estate from the Edward St. John Real Estate Program at Johns Hopkins University.<\/p>\n<p>St. John Properties has several Maryland office and industrial projects in the works. Last December, the company broke ground on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/st-john-properties-breaks-ground-on-3-buildings-in-md\/\">three buildings totaling&nbsp;200,000 square feet<\/a> of flex, R&amp;D, bulk and warehouse space within&nbsp;Arcadia Business Park in Frederick.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sean Doordan has been with the company since 2005.
