Proffitt Dixon Partners has completed a 651-unit self storage facility in Thunderbolt, Ga. JLL\u2019s Project and Development Services oversaw the construction of the project on behalf of the developer. CubeSmart will manage the property.<\/p>\n

Located at 2201 E. Victory Drive, the storage asset is alongside Freeway 80, approximately 4 miles from downtown Savannah and it is easily accessible from Wilmington and Tybee Islands. Additionally, the facility is close to the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah State University and the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University.<\/p>\n

The newly completed three-story storage facility encompasses climate-controlled units ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. The units are equipped with Smart Entry System, a wireless, cloud-based digital key management solution. The system allows tenants to enter the units using a smartphone as well as to track activity and to authorize or restrict access. Other characteristics include 24-hour access and parking spaces.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Ben White Storage received LEED Platinum<\/a>. The Austin facility, which is also managed by CubeSmart, scored 84 points under the LEED v4 Operations and Maintenance: Warehouses and Distribution Centers rating system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
