Lands Law Firm for Chicago Trophy Tower"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Morgan Lewis &amp; Bockius has signed an 86,000-square-foot lease at the upcoming Class A tower at 110 N. Wacker Drive in Chicago\u2019s West Loop submarket. The law firm, which has been present in the city since 2003, will occupy three floors at the building beginning in the third quarter of 2021. The brokerages involved in the deal were JLL, which represented the tenant , and CBRE, which closed the deal on behalf of the developers, The Howard Hughes Corp. and Riverside Investment and Development.<\/p>\n<p>The lease will bring the 1.5 million-square-foot tower to 50 percent occupancy, two years before the project is scheduled for delivery. In 2017, the developers signed a 530,000-square-foot lease with Bank of America, which is expected to be the anchor tenant. Previously announced tenants include Lincoln International and No18.<\/p>\n<h2>Coveted space<\/h2>\n<p>Construction work at the 55-story tower <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/ground-breaks-on-1-4-msf-chicago-office-tower\/\">began in the summer of 2018<\/a> and is expected to be complete by the end of 2020. Goettsch Partners is the designer of the project while the contractor is Clark Construction. Last year, the developers announced that the costs of delivering the 55-story tower were expected to mount to $760.7 million. The LEED Gold-certified building offers tenants views of the riverfront and one of the most coveted locations in the city.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>It is exciting to have the opportunity to construct quality space that employs forward-thinking technology in flexible design.
