Artis REIT has welcomed Serendipity Labs at its 525 Junction Road office building in Middleton, Wis. The coworking space operator will take occupancy of 23,000 square feet on the property\u2019s 6th floor by this summer. Franchise owner Ryan Jacobson will own and operate the new location, dubbed Serendipity Labs Madison\u2013Middleton.<\/p>\n

The new space will feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, offices and team rooms for one to 10 people. Custom-built suites can accommodate up to 50 people. Additional features will include a coworking lounge, Lab Caf\u00e9, collaborative and social areas as well as meeting and event facilities for 75 people. Individual spaces will feature sit-stand desks, focus rooms for privacy, wellness rooms for nursing mothers, prayer and meditation, and access to local artist-curated shows and member-only events. Based on key card entry, members will be able to gain admission into every Serendipity Labs location in the country. <\/p>\n

The 2001-built property comprises 360,090 square feet across eight floors. Building amenities include a fitness center, a lounge, conference rooms and covered parking with 1,436 spaces. Various restaurants, banks, retailers and accommodation options are nearby. The West Beltline Highway and University Avenue, which provide quick access to the downtown area, are minutes away.<\/p>\n

Serendipity Labs opened its first Wisconsin location at the beginning of the year in Wauwatosa. The Middleton space marks the company\u2019s seventh Midwest location after Chicago, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Columbus, Ohio. With 30 locations across the U.S., this new space is part of the firm\u2019s expansion strategy in secondary and suburban markets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

JLL Managing Director & National Lead Michael Berman, Senior Vice President David Pudlosky and Associate Broker Nick Hepner represented the tenant, while Vice President of Leasing Brett Rieman acted on behalf of the landlord.<\/p>\n
