The True Value-owned hardware store will occupy 1,807 square feet on the ground floor and 1,656 square feet on the mezzanine, relocating from the Teacher\u2019s Insurance building at 730 Third Ave.<\/p>\n<p>Situated in the borough\u2019s Midtown East neighborhood and known as the Episcopal Church Center, the building is within walking distance of the United Nations Headquarters and Grand Central Terminal. Multiple subway lines, including 4, 5, 6, 7 and S, as well as Metro-North\u2019s Harlem, Hudson and New Haven train stations, provide easy access throughout the entire area.<\/p>\n<p>According to Yardi Matrix data, the 11-story property encompasses 137,784&nbsp;square feet of office and retail space. The new tenant&nbsp;plans to connect the floors it occupies through a staircase. Other notable tenants include The Lyceum Kennedy International School, The National Association of Episcopal Schools and Consulate General of Haiti.<\/p>\n<p>Avison Young Principal &amp; Tri-State President Arthur Mirante,&nbsp;Principal Martin Cottingham, Director Jonathan Krivine&nbsp;and&nbsp;Associate Matthew Pynn represented the landlord in the lease transaction. JLL\u2019s Patrick Smith, Don Cafero and Amy Zhen acted on behalf of the tenant.
