The capacity, currently under development throughout Virginia, has been recently acquired from renewable energy developer SolUnesco.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carvers Creek (150 MW)<\/li>\n<li>Moody Creek (150 MW)<\/li>\n<li>Red Brick (130 MW)<\/li>\n<li>Rivanna (12.5 MW)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Combined, the four projects will generate sufficient energy to power about 72,000 homes and is estimated to contribute by more than $11 million in state and local tax revenue. The deal bolsters Apex\u2019s solar portfolio to more than 3 gigawatts, approximately 700 megawatts of which are situated in the Commonwealth.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe projects recently acquired from SolUnesco are expertly sited, have strong landowner support, and offer substantial environmental and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/job-gains-keep-absorption-steady-in-richmond\/\">economic benefits<\/a>.
